Export Forwarder for Global Technology Company

About the Client

The client is a global technology company that develops solutions for energy production, transmission, and storage. They work with everything from gas turbines and power plants to sustainable energy systems such as wind power and hydrogen. The company is a spin-off and operates in over 90 countries. In Sweden, this company is particularly strong in power generation and industrial energy solutions, including in Finspång.

About the Role

As an export forwarder, you will be part of a dedicated team of about 25 people responsible for delivering materials to customers installing new gas turbines. You will work in a dynamic environment where the pace is sometimes high, and flexibility is key. The role involves coordinating transports within Sweden, Europe, and the rest of the world – from preparing transport documents and booking shipments to following up deliveries and handling deviations.

You will:

• Create transport documents and invoices
• Book transports with selected suppliers and follow up to ensure goods are loaded
• Communicate with internal and external parties in Swedish and English
• Handle invoices from transport suppliers and ensure documentation is correct
• Work in business systems and external systems for transport planning

The work is varied and requires both structure and problem-solving skills. You are an important link in ensuring that everything arrives on time and with the right quality.

We are looking for someone who...

• Has a university degree in logistics, transport, or equivalent experience
• Is proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Is meticulous, structured, and has an eye for detail
• Enjoys communicating and collaborating in an environment with many points of contact

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with various modes of transport (sea, road, air) and transport solutions
• Knowledge of customs processes and delivery terms
• Language skills in German or Spanish
• Experience with procurement and cost awareness
• Interest in AI and digital solutions
